We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
From whatever
We will still be
Friends forever
- Vitamin C
Maybe not so much the friends forever bit though. I hope that I’ll stay in contact with the people I’m friends with, but I guess we’ll see won’t we?
Everyone was so incredibly teary today! (Everyone but me. Maybe it’s just cause I’m a cruel and heartless bitch. Or maybe it’s because I’m not super attached to the school. Like, I will defo miss the people and the whole “school notion”, but I’m pretty sure that I’ll be seeing most of these people again…Like, the majority of us are going to uni – either UNSW, USYD or UTS. I know we haven’t even sat the HSC yet, but it’s like, almost guaranteed that we’ll be there. Selective school. Hello?
)
Anyway, besides that, graduation was actually kind of boring. Seriously, it was speeches about how they (the teachers) “hope for a great future and that you will be missed” or something along those lines. Like, it felt like Ms Principle took an entire hour to say just that. Then there was like, another hour of awards. Fun fun fun.
The robes were kinda uncomfortable. Like seriously, my hat thing, kept falling off (despite the fact I had it pinned into my head). And during the Garden Party it just blew off so I was like “whatever” and just held it. Although the ensemble looks awesome in the photos. Plus. It makes us different from a whole bunch of other schools :) Oh how I love Ms Woolnough.
Here is a photo of me and my group:
As you can see, I’m like a highlighter in the group. The only white person
I also got my yearbook signed by almost everyone in the grade. I must say, well done to the yearbook comittee. It’s a lovely year book (in colour!) which I’m sure I’m going to look at when I reminisce about my high school days…
Yepppp….Now to get ready for dinner with my group! (Excitement! Something that we are doing that isn’t happening in the holidays and which EVERYONE is going to come to! Fun fun fun!)

Bahahahaha!!!
Mock assembly was freaking brill!
I played the part of Mrs Simmonds (my G-Unit teacher, not the awesome English teacher who ditched my class). Wore mother dearest’s apparel (which I bought her last Christmas). Twas a shirt with red and white horizontal stripes. Why I bought this for mum I do not know. Horizontal stripes make people look fat(ter?). And me and mother both know that we aren’t thin. So I was a bit iffy about wearing clothing that would make me look fatter than I already am, but whatever. It’s about getting into character right? And Mrs Simmonds ALWAYS wears horizontal stripes (again, dont know why. She certainly doesn’t need it to make her look curvier…)
Thank god I only had to say one line though. I wonder if I was loud enough…I guess we’ll see when I get the DVD.
Apparently, our mock assembly was uber long compared to previous years. And I dont think that the rest of the school got the jokes. Like, the Ok Go dance? Hardly anyone laughed. I love the Ok Go dance! It’s freaking hilarious! Watch it:
Treadmills probably wouldve been more entertaining though….
Oh well.
Graduation tomorrow!!!
Wonder if we’ll get the lovely graduation song…

We have been going crazy. Seriously. Wearing PJ’s to school, repainting the study, putting shaving cream everywhere, taking furniture and putting it outside, leaving stupid messages in the rolls, parties in every class, etc. It’s fun. If only the entire year was like this…
Here is an awesome photo of me and my textiles buddies upstairs in the study:

It should seriously be a song we go around singing during the final days of school.
Or not.
Here is a better, more appropriate version that is better suited for us and our position:
Hey look out for that limousine
Driving down Victoria Street
You better lock up the Techs
Before they meet
The new girls In town
Who just came on the scene
The new girl in town
Who just turned eighteen (Liz)
And she’s got a way of making
A boy act like a clown (Emma)
You don’t know what to do
‘Bout the new girls in town.
The new girl in town,
Seems to dance on air. (Shelley)
The new girl in town
She’s got the coolest hair. (Joeline)
You better tell the bitching queen (Sharon)
To hold onto her crown
Or she’s gonna lose it to a new girl in town. (Me)
We’re Hip, So Cool
They wanna get us after school.
And yet they’d like to be like us
Cause we’re the kittens
That the cats prefer.
The new girls in town
Hold the Techs on a string
The new girls in town
Hey look they’re wearing the St George year ring.
They can’t stop crying
And so in their own tears they’re gonna drown
Cause he want’s to rendezvous,
With the new girl
They’re extremely sad and blue
Yes it’s true girl
They’d want to say… (just guess)
To the new girls in town…
Oh how I love Hairspray.
Probably shouldve mentioned something about being smarter than them and stealing their ranks and ruining their timetables…
And this is from the actual movie…
ZOMG! WE SHOULD TOTALLY DO THIS FOR THE MOCK ASSEMBLY!!!

LOOK WHAT I MISSED LAST NIGHT!
DANIEL RADCLIFFE AND ZAC EFRON WERE BOTH ON ROVE.
Oh I love youtube. At least I can watch stuff online.
Here:
(Daniel Radcliffe)
and now for Zac:
EVERYONE at school was talking about it today. Jill kept going on about how Daniel was soooo much better than Zac. I know Zac’s stuck up, but hey, if I were a superstar with heaps of people loving me, I’d be stuck up too
Thank god for youtube.

Was good.
We celebrated it just yesterday which was awesome cause it was the APEC public holiday (I don’t understand why some people made such a huge deal about a public holiday being created because George Bush came to Sydney. Day off school! Hello? Who WOULDN’T want that?)
We went to dinner at the Star City buffet and everyone but Trish came. Shh…going to do a little bit of bitching here but whatever
I hate it when people pretend they are super popular and social and what not, but can’t even escape their parentals to have dinner. Oh I hate how I am in the same group as Patricia. She annoys so much! ARRRGHHH!!!
Thank god she doesn’t have a wordpress blog. Though, I’m almost sure she knows that I dislike her. Apparently whenever she speaks I look either bored or look away. (Said Shelley). I don’t mean to be rude!!! It’s just that the things she talks about don’t appeal to me – mainly because I’ve heard it before… She thinks she’s all hardcore and whatnot, when really she isn’t. I CAME from a school of hardcore. Leichhardt High? I remember there was a time in year 8 police were walking around our school trying to work out who graffitied the basketball courts.
Oh and the story about some guy throwing a table at a black board in maths because the teacher wouldn’t let him go to the toilet (because he was going to smoke).
Patricia, you are nothing compared to that so get over youself already!
Anyway, back to Liz’s birthday. I still haven’t ate anything today (no breakfast and no lunch. This is big news for the girl who basically eats the world!). We ate soooo much. It was good. And it was fun. Just alot of chatting and stuff. We attempted to walk back to Town Hall to do Asian Karoke (which is always fun. I heart to sing. Very badly
). Attempted because we were all so full that it was difficult to walk. Especially for me and Shelley because we eat like there’s no tomorrow. Maybe it’s one of the things that make us close friends
The passion for food. Any food
Anyway, we all left the city at around 11. (I can’t believe that everyone’s parentals (including my anal ones) let us stay out that late! Maybe it’s because it was a group of girls. Selective girls is what I think did it for my parents. They are all too smart to drink or smoke or get raped – which is my mother’s ultimate fear).
Maybe I should do dinner and karoke for my 18th?
Maybe not.
It would seem like I was copying Liz and that would be bad. I want music and dancing for my birthday. Perhaps I’ll have it in a club. I am one of the youngest in the group. Although, not THE youngest meaning that Joeline wouldnt be able to come. Hmmm…Still A LOT of time to think about it…I have bigger problems to worry about. Like, THE HSC.

So my textiles major work was due in today.
Have had absolutely no sleep since Friday night.
Actually, that’s a lie. I’ve had a few power naps to get me through. And lots and lots of V.
I’m not going to post a photo of what it looked like in the end cause I think I’ll have a cry… Like, it will remind me that it’s over, but that I could’ve done sooo much better had I spent more time on it and not left it to the last minute… (although everyone keep telling me it’s fine I really don’t think it is. If it’s fine, it could’ve been EXCELLENT)
